## Robust and simple sample preparation
The GINA product line offers two functions: First, the removal of human cells from EDTA whole blood samples, thereby enriching the sample with microorganisms. Second, the thorough and efficient lysis of tissue and microorganisms in various types of samples, such as viscous samples or soft tissue in addition to blood samples. All products feature a simple and robust design and are easy to use. The sample preparation methods can be used either as part of the “cube dx” workflow or for other applications.

## Sensitive PCR products
PCR-Box Bacteria is a pan-bacterial 16S PCR mix. PCR-Box Fungi is a pan-fungal 28S PCR mix. Different PCR mixes for testing bacterial resistance genes round up the portfolio. All products are ready-to-use mixes and provided as single reactions in 0.2 mL tubes. Manufacturing takes place under cleanroom conditions. The PCR mixes are extremely sensitive, provide the possibility of RNA transcription, hot-start functionality and uracil-DNA glycosylase (UNG) as carry-over protection. Beside using the PCR for compact sequencing, the products can be used for state-of-the-art 16S and 28S sequencing (Sanger, NGS).

## Comprehensive hybcell tests
hybcell tests identify microbial species or genera from amplicons of the cube dx PCR products. In less than 20 minutes results for a wide range of targets are provided at once. The hybcell tests are designed as syndromic tests spanning several severe infections. The output of microbial targets for a specific application can be adjusted by the user for relevance. Therefore hybcell tests are suitable for clinical routine as well as research applications.

## hyborg Dx RED2/3 and software
hyborg Dx RED processes hybcell tests completely automated. Different hybcell tests can be processed in a single run. The software offers ease of use, automatic report generation, possibilities of remote support and LIMS connectivity. The instrument is delivered with the software. The product is designed to keep maintenance efforts minimal.
