## From sample to result
01. **Sample preparation** (0 to 0.3 h) — Microorganisms are enriched and efficiently lysed - from whole blood, tissue, body fluids or respiratory specimens.
02. **DNA extraction & detection** (~1.75 h) — Purification / extraction of DNA and pan-bacterial 16S and pan-fungal 28S PCR to separate negative from positive samples.
03. **Identification** (~0.3 h) — Positive samples are examined with hybcell against many targets in parallel. hyborg Dx RED processes and analyses completely automatically and wraps results up in a comprehensive report.
